I know they did, but how can I prove it?
5 or 6 years ago, my appendix ruptured and had to be removed immediately at a hospital in florida. Ever since then I haven't been able to pass gas down there or have a bowel movement without forcing it or removing it manually. Burping is the only way to release the gas. And it has to be done forcefully, by shifting my stomach around the scar under my navel. To make matters worse, my abdominal pains are getting unbearable. I get them when I strain to remove my bowel. After orgasms. And even worse, for no specific reason at all. I could be walking and Boom! The pain is worst than any menstrual cramp you could ever imagine. I've never been pregnant. And my gut tells me it's from the appendicitis, because the pain location is exact. I don't know what to do. To get rid of the pain, I have to force myself to burp, which helps a little. Take pain pills, And then wait about 10 to 20 minutes until it goes away. Please help me my pain has reached a new record of 2 and a half hours with burping, pills and tea. It was so bad I couldn't even sleep it off. I'm so tired of tip toeing around this issue!

- go to the doctor!!
- You should have gone to a doctor about this after you started dealing with it after the apendectomy. Your chances of proving that it was something they did during surgery have drastically diminished because of the time that has lapsed. Your best bet now is to do what needs to be done to resolve the problem. Why would you live with this for 5 years without seeing a doctor about it?!
- Usually when the appendix burst, there are spills around the appendix. The spill has to be cleaned up really well. Then the healing come, including the cut edge of the bowel, the cut edge of abdomen and the damaged visceral around the spill. Here come the healing, and the process is always formation of good tissues. The new formed tissues always has the tendency to stick together -- in your case it might be the intestine sticking to something. It is called " Adhesions" and is very hard to see what is stuck to what. It might be your intestine stuck to abdoman wall or uterus or fillopian tube. So my best suggestion will be to go back to the doctor, even better if it is another surgeon.
- you should go to the doctor immediately ..
