Going to florida on June 27th?

Hi Guys wanted to get everyones opinion on dollars, Should i buy now as i can get them for 1.5 from crown currency exchange who i have dealt with before or should i hang on until closer to the time and then just buy them. Also thought i would share a little info if you are going to florida and dont want to drive but also done want to rely on public transport (i have been a few times now and allways relied on the iride and lynx buses as well as taxis), i spent almost £600 on taxis when i was there last year. I have found a good alternative. If you contact some of the local taxi or town car companies and say you want a package for the length of your stay for unlimited travel for a one off payment at the start of your holiday ie you phone them and they pick you up and you dont have to pay anything then they are likely to do it. we have just done this and it has worked otu pretty good. anyways would be good to hear your thoughts on the dollars and any hidden gems in orlando that i may have not heard about.Oh Also does anyone know if there is any reachable beaches near orlando and if they are any good .Cheers

1. I would buy them now while you have the cash. I doubt there will be any significant change any time soon. As for transport, I'm visiting in May with a party of 6 and we have hired a car for £350 for 2 weeks. Last time I went with one other person and we didn't hire a car. But we used the shuttle service that our hotel offered. It was reliable and free to Universal and a few pounds to Disney. We got the occasional taxi ride. I have been to Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach and both were really nice. xx
2. I would rent a car.. you'll probably save some money. I'm actually going to Florida on June 27th as well (haha). It's prime tourist season so things will be busy, so that means pubic transit will also be busy. Cocoa, Daytona are close to Orlando. If your willing to drive a bit further, go to Clearwater Beach. It's beautiful, and less busy than the other 2. Another is Sanibel Island, but its a 4 and a half hour drive. Enjoy your vacation!
