1. If you are referring to the pirate attacks, they yes. It is located next to the Gulf of Aden, which is a busy shipping lane through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean. Its nonexistent government/economy causes many people to resort to violence and become pirates, taking advantage of the frequent shipping. If you're not then update your question and I'll look into it.
