  1. There is a hideously racist article from 1924 about the Chinese involvement in the gold rush at the link below.
  2. ship
  3. The only method possible at that time.... Ship.
  4. The Chinese traveled in a boat, when crossing the Pacific Ocean. Most came to work on the railroad, not to look for gold.
  5. When news of the Gold Rush reached Canton in 1848, thousands of young Chinese mortgaged their futures and boarded boats to "Gum Shan," or "Gold Mountain," as California was known. It was a dangerous gamble, but they had little to lose: Canton (Kwangtung) province was torn by civil war, floods, droughts, typhoons and other disasters. By 1852, 25,000 Chinese had reached Gold Mountain. The 1852 census showed 804 Chinese males and 10 females in Sacramento.
  6. They traveled in boats.
  7. It was not by plane,it was not train & it was not by car It was by ship, that was how MOST of the Chinese travelled all over the world during that time.
  8. They dug a tunnel under the Pacific Ocean! LOL How do you think they got there? No planes available, Captain Kirk was always using the transporter to find alien women to have sex with, too damn far to swim, and a walk would have required an extremely long bridge! ship
  9. Ships of course.
  10. L.L., the story is about racism against the Chinese gold rush immigrants, it is not a racist article.
  11. Airbus A380
  12. since theres no planes available to fly that far for a good price... about 99.9% of chinese people took a ship... some of them came in like the mexicans did... theyr also very hard workers, cuz they built the railroads together with the Irish ppl for the US
  13. historians pointed to two possible explanations: 1. they flew here on asian dragons of tian shan 2. they're all ninjas and used their chi power to fly here
  14. There was only one mode of transportation from China to America back then. I bet if you get a map out, you'll be able to figure this one out for yourself. Hint: Commercial airplanes were not available yet...
