1. not possible u have to pay to get those kind of service ... there are companies and network connection providers which offers u upgrades for ur phone with tracking applications ... but u have to make sure ur phone model supports there tracking applications to be installed first ...
2. Well there are certain applications you can use. Like on the G1 there is a GPS tracking application made specificity for the phone. You can track where your phone is. It is a free application.
