Is amazon's super saver shipping really slow? and is it completely free?

Amazon says it adds 3-5 days. Is this true? and more importantly, is my entire order free shipping? or just the stuff that qualifies? Thanks

1. I have used super savings many times and amazed how fast it was received ! I don't think it arrives any slower. On my several item multiple orders I rec'd free shipping on everything.
2. I've gotten things in two days after ordering with Super Saver Shipping. However, I've also gotten things upwards of ten days after ordering.
