question about amazon.com shipping policies(pls see details)?

I want to buy a pc game for my friend for his birthday. However, i also want to get a book and a usb bluetooth adapter for myself. I was wondering if i could put all three items in the same order, but have the pc games shipped to my friend's address outside the USA and the book and bluetooth adapter shipped to me(in the USA). Is that possible? Or would i have to put my stuff and his game in separate orders? If it is possible, would it be cheaper to place all items in a single order or would it be cheaper to have a separate order for my stuff and a separate order for his stuff? Also, all three items qualify for super saver shipping. I know it only applies to shipments inside the US, but would the price of his game($22 USD) go toward the super saver shipping even though it's being shipped outside the US. In other words, could the price of all three together (above $25) make the two items being shipped to me eligible for free shipping? Thanks in advance.

  1. If you buy them all at once, I think you will get free shipping. Choose the option before you go to checkout that says "Show gift options at checkout". Then, on the shipping page, look for the button under "Sending items to more than one address?" You can send each item to a different location, and you can include gift notes as well. If it does not give you free shipping after splitting those things up, you can look for a good inexpensive item. There is a list of useful items which qualify for Super Saver Shipping organized by price here: http://hubpages.com/_savemoney/hub/Amazon-Filler-Items-Free-Shipping
