What Do you need to Capture gameplay on Xbox 360?

I was going to buy a capture card but then i realized that i dont know exactly what i need and I'd rather order everything all at once. So if anyone could help me it would really, well, help me. Next Is an RCA or V/A cable. Which I have around my house from an old VHS player. This is what i am having trouble in deciding which will work with the xbox a/v cables and which are cheaper. Which is confusing the hell out of me. So please LINK me to splitters that i can purchase from, preferably, Amazon. And spitters that have That free super savers shipping or w/e it is. I hate paying for shipping. If anything link me to bestbuy because A kid i know works there and he can just pick it up for me. I know this is asking alot so, THanks! I didnt mention this befor that clear i guess but i want to Record while still playing on my tv. Because if you play off your comp you will play for a 3 inch screen and its lagged.

1. i would go with purchasing a capture card. These usually come with the standard definition cords needed to capture all content on your 360 and save it on your computer's hard drive. Purchasing one of these would give you everything you will need to complete this task as long as you make sure it comes with its own cords.
2. you can record gameplay from like a vcr or dvd player by hooking up your xbox into the vcr(or dvd player)'s input hookin,and then hooking up the player into the TV.....and then you just turn both of them on and you can record your gameplay that way.....but most people just hook their xbox into a computer and record their gameplay that way.....heres where i site on how to do it.....hope it helps!!!!!
