Could you recommend a cheap Car Rental company in Havana.?

I'm going to Cuba on June 12th and I would like to rent a car from June 15th until 1st July. I think this is the best way to travel around Cuba and not waste time for public transport although is quite expensive. Is it better to book sth in advance or I can do it after arrival. I need the economy (cheapest) car with air conditioning. I'm considering Transtur or Panautos car rentals. Is it ok ?

2. Basically there are only two rental companies now - Via Gaviota and the rest. Transtur and Panautos, if still operating, and different brands of the same company. You might get good deals through intermediaries - have a search on the web and look at the prices.

5. hmmmm, there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://bookme.com/cars.php and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
