What transportation can I take from Incheon Airport to Camp Casey?
I am civilian visiting my fiance that is stationed in Camp Casey. I am staying at Casey Lodge, I would like to know the quickest and safest way/transportation to get to Camp Case? How much would it cost? And what transportation is cost efficient?

- well the most efficient way would be to call a taxi. if you ask the workers at incheon, i'm sure someone can direct you to spot where people wait for their taxis to pick them up. but i don't think the taxi will be the most cost efficient... you could always try taking a bus, but that'd probably take longer. if camp casey is in seoul, i think you can take a subway there....it'd be the cheapest but will take the longest....although i'm not sure if the subway from incheon to seoul's been built all the way yet. they were still constructing it when i left.
- That depends on what time of day that you arrive. If you arrive during the day and not too late in the evening, you may be able to take the USO bus to Yongsan and then switch to the Camp Casey bus there. The USO bus is free and the Myungjin Bus to Casey is about $4.00. This is the cheapest, but will take you about 2 hours...depending on traffic...to get to Camp Casey. Problem is, I think you need to produce a military ID or dependent ID to use those buses. However, is is the schedule for them: http://www.rao-osan.com/retact/info/visitors/bussched.htm Probably the best way in your case is to take a limousine bus from the airport to Uijeongbu (airport bus stops 2A & 8B, runs once/hour, 12,000 won)- the last stop is Uijeongbu Terminal. From there, take a bus to Dongducheon (maybe another 2,000 won?). Total cost is about $15 US and about a 90 minute bus ride. The easiest would b for you to take a taxi, but I estimate it would cost you about $70-100 dollars for that trip, but at least it will get you there. Word of warning about the taxis...DO NOT accept a ride from a taxi where the driver has come into the airport looking for fares...they are "gypsy taxi" and they can charge anything. If you use a taxi, only use the official taxis that will be parked at the taxi stand outside. There will be dozens of them. They will be in 3 colors....silver, white and black. Do not use the black taxis as they are "special" taxis and are expensive, but they do have the best service.
