Location Transport

what kind of paper work does a 18-wheeler need to transport a car from state to state?

I live in texas and i'm trying to transport my brother's and my car car to oregon. A friend is tansporting the car in his truck do i need to give him any paper work.

1. He should have a bill of lading, showing the origin and destination of the shipment and a simple description of the property being shipped... But of course, if the friend is a professional truck driver, he should already know this.
2. If you are paying someone to take the car to Oregon you will need a BILL OF LADING or SHIPPING DOCUMENT. If your friend is doing it as a "favor" you do not need anything. Doesn't hurt to have the title and/or registration with you. Are you going with as well?
