Will Target's shipping rates be different from Amazons? $23 shipping for a $60 purchase!?
I am about to order something on Amazon that has a total price of 60 but the shipping and handling adds up to 23. This is way too much for me to pay. The item I am buying is not sold in target stores, but you can order it off their website. I can only find their shipping cost if I set up an account and go through the checkout process. Can anyone tell me if I should expect to see a decrease in the shipping price? I am considering not buying because of how much the shipping is. The items are two plastic storage drawers for storing things that I need a place for. I guess there would be placed to buy this kind of a thing but it is a waste of time to go to a store and find out they don't have it. I am almost considering paying the 23 dollars just so I don't have to got through the process of calling to see if stores have this, or looking myself. But this price is really high.

- the shipping price is so high because they are bulky and large. Try ordering them from Staples.com Staples offers free delivery on all orders over $50.
- Just go to Amazon, search for "plastic storage" then on the left under Shipping Options click "Free Super Saver Shipping." Now, any of the items displayed will qualify for free shipping when you spend more than $25. If you can't find what you want for over $25 you can also find some cheap free shipping items to add to your order to get to $25: http://hubpages.com/_savemoney/hub/Amazon-Filler-Items-Free-Shipping
- My shipping charge for a GPS from Target was zero. Target always has low shipping costs. Go ahead and set up the account. You can cancel if the shipping is high and they won't keep your personal information.
