Easiest transportation from Lisbon airport to University of Coimbra?

I am flying from Newark to Lisbon. From there, I need to get to the University of Coimbra. Is it easier to take a train or a bus? i.e., judging from the location of the airport and the university, would there be more buses/taxis/general running around to get to the train or the bus station in Lisbon, AND, in Coimbra, is the train or bus station closer to the University? I want the quickest, easiest way possible. Thanks!

1. that would be the train. from the airport take a taxi to "gare do oriente" station buy a train ticket to coimbra then take another taxi or bus to the university.
2. I believe it may be the train as well. Although you will have to take a taxi or bus to the train station. You can check out www.cp.pt and it will give you all the information you need on the train system in portugal.
