How do I remove shipping tape residue from the outside of a microwave?

The mental giants at the place where I bought this floor model microwave used shipping tape to affix the clearance tag. I can't get the residue off. I used acetone but it did not do a thing. I even poured it on and left it there for a while. What is my next option without hurting the white surface of the microwave? Never mind. WD40 worked perfectly. Disolved it really quickly.

3. no I would try a little rubbing alcohol it is the best on any type of tape glue..
4. goo off or use peanut butter, but it takes a while and a lot of rubbing.
