How to transport an adult tricycle on a car bike rack?

Anyone know how to transport an adult tricycle or three-wheeler on an SUV? I've tried looking for a bike rack especially made for these and can't find one. Does anyone have any personal experience transporting an adult trike on an SUV?

1. You might be able to ethnic-engineer something on an existing roof rack, but that would be about it, short of disassembling it and putting it inside or hauling it on a trailer. There aren't enough of them around to make racks a mass-market thing. Alternate thought, sniff around the human powered vehicle association websites. 3 wheel 'bent drivers might have something that could be adapted.
2. I use a trailer from Harbor freight. before I would suspend the trike by the rear axle and put the axle over the bike support bars sitting up real high.
