Gold Coast to Sydney (10 pts)?

How i can go from Gold Coast to Sydney by public transport other than flight? How long is the journey? Please advice how much also. Thanks!

1. Get a bus? Hire a car? We do it by car from Caboolture, about 40 mins from the Gold Coast, and it takes us around 12 hours straight to Sydney. Have funnnnnnn!

Greyhound Bus http://www.greyhound.com.au/ Time: Approx 15 hours Cost: Approx $100 - $150 (Adult fare) Countrylink Train http://www.countrylink.info/ Time: Approx 14 - 16 hours Cost: Approx $110 (Adult fare) This will vary depending on whether you catch express, and what time of year it is that you want to travel.
