Two Amazon.com shopping questions?

So, I have two different questions about the shopping site, Amazon.com. The first one is about gift cards. Let's pretend I got a gift card for $400 from amazon, and I wanted to spend only part of it, say $100, would there be $300 left on it, or do you have to spend the entire thing at once? Second, about a pre-order shipping with other in-stock items. Today, I ordered 4 items. Two of them are already released. One other item is going to be released mid-september, and the last, fourth item will be released mid november. Since I chose free super-saver shipping since I spent over $25, it said that my order will ship in as few shipments as possible. Does that mean I will have to wait til november to get the entire order, especially since i chose that shipping option? Thanks in advance!

  1. You dont have to spend the entire thing at once. Thats pretty obvious, no offence. There would be $300 left on it. And it depends, they would probably just ship the already released items together, and then the September one in September, and the November one in November. When it says fewest shipments as possible, it doesnt mean all in one. It mean as few as possible, and if you used common sense, they wouldnt wait MONTHS just to only send one package. In my experience they send things that come up after about two weeks. After that its a new package. i hope i helped. :)
