Is there any way to fully track a cell phone?

I have heard about a new mobile software that allows someone to FULLY track a cell phone. When I say fully I mean; location, recorded conversations, reading of texts and being able to hear audio even when the phone is not being used to call others. I would like to know any information regarding this new software because I have reason to believe that it will be used against me by my parents. I haven't done anything to deserve this treatment but I want to be aware of this just in case. Thank you so much for your time. ANSWER THE QUESTION!
