Flying with Dog from Canada to Germany and back.?
1. I need to know all of the shots she needs. Is there a website where I could find that? 2. We are Canadian travelling to Germany, apparently European animals need microchips or tattoos in their ears, does my dog need that if we're just travelling there? 3. I was reading and it said that on public transport dogs need muzzles, do they mean like the heavy duty basket muzzles or would a Nylon Fabric muzzle be sufficient? 4. Natural Calming Aids, do they actually work?

- You should talk to your vet, they should know.
- Hi I dont know about Canada to Germany but as an english person in the UK i can tell you that over here and in Europe dogs need passports to travel from country to country... As a veterinary nurse i can also tell you they have to have had a rabies shot, which you have to have done 6 months before travelling so make sure you plan in advance! The rules have changed slightly recently meaning that they may not have to be quarantined for a few months like they used to be. There will be a website somewhere that can help you, try searching Pet passports on google. They have to be microchipped and up to date with normal vaccines also. A fabric muzzle would be fine its just to protect workers and also make sure that she/he has water available during travel! Good luck with your journey!
