If you have a UPS shipping label is it paid for and how long?
Ok, a company sent me a shipping label for UPS, does that mean it's paid for or do I have to pay for shipping once I drop it off? And how do I have to ship the package before the label "expires?"

- its paid for
- It's paid for. Either drop it off at a ups store, or in a ups drop box.
- yup, paid for, but i believe it can only be returned to the address that is on the envelope because that address corresponds to that account and will return to only that address, i dont really think it has an expiration date as long as the account is open.
- Yes - it is already paid for. It does not have an expiration date. However, if the label is preprinted, you can only ship to that address. Additionally, the addressee will not be charged until it is actually shipped and delivered. Be sure to save the receipt for the tracking number.
- Yes, that is a prepaid return label to the shipper. The shipper's account number (and address information) is embedded in the tracking number, so you would be unable to use that label to ship a package anywhere besides the shipper's return address. Altered labels are not honored. To my best knowledge, (which is considerable), labels do not expire. Only the paying party (the shipper) can revoke an unused label in order to get their money back. You can hand a prepaid package to any UPS driver you see, drop it in any UPS box that it will fit in, take it to any UPS Store or UPS facility, or, if the package is large, you can arrange for a one-time pickup at your house. Call 1-800-PICK-UPS for UPS customer service if you have any other questions. They are very helpful and informative.
- The company has send you a UPS label because you've most likely requested some type of service to whatever product you have. Just package the box up, slap the label on and take it to any ups location or dropbox and your ready to roll.
