What transportation is available to get from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to downtown Montreal?

I need some advice from any Montreal residents here. Next week I'll be flying into Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Dorval. My hotel is located in downtown Montréal, near the Centre Bell. What form of transportation should I use to get from Montréal-Trudeau to the Centre Bell? Does the airport have a shuttle or light rail service? If not- How much (in CAD) is a taxi? What do you guys think I should do?

1. You can take STM bus route 204 or 209 to the Dorval train station, then either the commuter train to Lucien L'Allier station, or route 211 to Lionel-Groulx métro station and métro line 2 to Lucien L'Allier. There is also a bus that runs between the airport and the main bus terminal (near Berri-UQAM - take métro line 2 to Lucien L'Allier).

Someone else already posted, with good info-- the 204 or 209 to Terminus Dorval, and the 211 to Lionel-Groulx, then the metro (this will cost you 2.75, just make sure you keep your transfer ticket)... it will take a while though! You could also take the bus to Terminus Dorval and then the commuter line (AMT) into Montreal. I think it stops at Lucien L'Allier metro (by the Centre Bell) and Vendome (on the same metro-- ligne orange). That will cost you $2.75 and maybe 5-8 more dollars for the train. There is also L'aerobus shuttle service that brings you Berri and de Maisonneuve, which is a bit east of where you want to be. This is about $16, but it is direct. You can take a stroll down Ste-Catherine (depending how big your bag is) to get to the your hotel which will give you a nice view of the city. Another option is a taxi. This will cost you about $35-40. You might be able to share with someone... Enjoy the city!
3. The Aérobus also stops at 5 downtown hotels: Marriott Château Champlain, Delta Centre-ville, Fairmont the Queen Elizabeth, Sheraton & The Delta Hotel Montréal, as well as the terminal at Berri. The Aérobus costs $16. one way / $26 return, a taxi to the city centre is $38.
