Location Transport

What is a location comparable to a cell for science class?

My teacher assigned a project where we have to pick a location that has parts the same as a cell i.e. nucleus, cell membrane, cytoplasm, mitochondria etc. Any suggestions?

3. Hmm, I agree- this is a pretty bad assignment- nothing truly embodies a cell. My first thought was the US Mail service- but I really like what the person above me wrote, saying the US Capitol. Basically anything with a central headquarters that can have broad effects elsewhere can somehow be compared to a cell.
4. you could go to the library! its the best way to get information and there is lots to go around !If you don't want to go there for information there is Wikipedia and Google if you don't like the library. I think you could also ask one of your classmates to study together and get some info from them.
