How much does it cost to travel by public transport from Heathrow Airport to Dover in the UK?

(Could the answer please be in british pounds or what ever the currency is that they use over there) I'm flying from Sydney to London and need to get from the airport to Dover port but I don't know how much it will cost to get there via Train or Bus or Both.

£4 on the Underground to central London plus £25.40 one way fare from London to Dover.(a return will be less than double the one way fare) From Heathrow catch the Underground to Charing Cross Station in London (Change at Piccadilly Circus on to the Bakerloo Line).
