As a employee can my employer take out money from my pay for any damages?

As a auto transporter in Ca. can the employer take out money from my pay or bonus for any damages to to any cars on the truck i drive for the employer? Thanks

2. if you're transporting cars, then you loaded and unloaded them. guess what? you're up the creek.
