How many Miles per gallon (or liters per 100 km) does the VW Transporter T5 Get?

Well, I love the look of Volkswagens new T5. It looks elegant, inside looks really spacious, and it looks short compared to other vans, and it could make a great camper. I was wondering, how many Miles per Gallon (or liters per 100 km) does it get? I'm talking about the non-facelift one. CALIFORNIA, VOLKSWAGEN CALIFORNIA, NOT THE ORIGINAL T5

1. look at h.p. and how available this model is in you area. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Transporter_(T5) i had a vanagon and yes vw's tend to have a lot of room, they take the square style and do not mold plastic to take up 25% of the interior of most minivans. should be 20 mph. but transporters are not available everywhere.
2. After years of experience with the VW, VW vans and VW squarebacks, I suspect the Transporter will get about 15-17 miles per gallon.
