Transportation in Orlando?
I'm going to UCF for a convention. I'm not yet 25, so I cannot rent a car. I'm not 21 either, so that's completely out of the question. I took a cab from the airport last time and the price ran me about $60 (jesus, that's almost as much as my airline ticket) Since I'm not made of money, the next time I tried taking the LYNX bus instead. I took the LYNX bus and it literally took me 2.5 hours. Is there a better option that I don't know about?

- There are Mears shuttles, which you can get at the airport. I have taken them several times. It is the same idea as a cab except there will be multiple people who are going the same direction as you aboard, so the price is generally a lot cheaper than a cab. And it would definitely be faster than the bus. They are online if you want to check them out.
- Welcome to Orlando...you really need a car here. At least Lynx runst out by UCF. Mears shuttles are a good idea, about 1/2 way in convenience and price between the bus and a cab. Why not run an ad on Craigs list? You can probably find a student willing to run out to get you for $20 or so.
