whats the cheapest way to get from a disney resort to Port Carnaveral?

I need transportation from A Disney resort to Port Carnavel, then a pickup at port carnaverl going back to Orlando airport. Thanks

1. I would ask the front desk about this. Disney, depending on which days run buses out there for the Disney Cruise line. Maybe you could hitch a ride? If not Mears shuttles would prob your best.
2. Basically, you have cabs or Mears. Mears shuttles are usually a few dollars cheaper than a cab. In my experience they do a pretty good job of meeting you when they are supposed to be there. They are online so you can put in some info and see approximate cost. They seem a little more organized and reliable to me than the cab companies. I have used them myself.
3. the disney buses are operated by mears but are specifically for the disney ships' guests. try the Super Shuttle or a Mears Shuttle. They'll pick up other people along the way, thus reducing your cost. be sure to get all the relevant phone #s in the case of a shuttle running late. there's been a lot of construction going on lately blocking lanes of traffic at random times. have fun.
4. Depending on how many people are travelling to the port, it may be worth checking into a rental car.
5. Disney only provides complimentary transportation to the Disney Cruise Line terminal at Port Canaveral if you have a "Land & Sea" package with the Disney Cruise Line. Otherwise you will have to go to the Orlando International Airport for a Mears shuttle to Port Canaveral or take a taxi cab which will be very expensive.
