what is your faveroute mode of transport to get to a footy game?
i have to go by car these days because of where i live. but if you had a choice what way would you preffer? car, cab, bus, train or tram. i would love to hear your thoughts and why. i also understand that melboune is the only state that has trams so please no smart remarks on that one as i have been on them to go to a game as well.

- When I go to the SCG, its mainly bus. I love how we sing our song along the way and finding parking spots is just a pain in the ass
- I like going by car...we used to live in country Vic and would drive to the MCG, Princess Park (Optus Oval) but the best games for us were the one's at the Telstra Dome we'd drive and park underneath the ground...no need to take wet weather gear and we stayed nice and dry which was great when we had a two hour drive home after the game...now we're back in Melbourne and we'll use the train next season so I'll need my coat and umbrella knowing Melbourne's changeable weather.
- i like going by bus. its always fun to be singing your team song the whole trip there and back, and you can meet people that obviously have good taste, as the support your team. but i only like going by bus to home games, otherwise it gets a bit long and boring.
- The FREE Footy express buses in Adelaide
- beam me up scotty. I use the starship Enterprise!
- Yeah the Footy Express is pretty good. Me and my friends found a street that usually only has a few cars down it and it's a two minute walk to AAMI Stadium, so we don't mind taking a car now.
- car. no crowded train stations.
- SCG - motorbike, free parking, no traffic worries and close to the city.
