Does anyone know of a hotel in or near disney world?
My boyfriend and I are going to Orlando, Florida to go to Disney and we want to stay near disney. We are trying to find somewhere that has free transportation to and from the airport and to and from the disney parks, wireless internet in the room, and breakfast. We are trying to stay under $100 per night.

- There are some budget hotels on the Disney grounds. You would probably have to go in the off season to get them at under $100 per night though.
- I always stay at one of the Choice brand chain of motels. You can visit them at www.choicehotels.com. The Comfort Inn at Lake Buena Vista is very close and has some great deals. The ones near the airport (I beleive its Mccoy Rd) have transportation. With the economy like it is, there are some good deals around. BTW, I live in a small town in Fl and like to get away for the weekend in Orlando from time to time. Like you, I try to stay cheap. Good Luck!
- Here's where you can find that out http://www.cassandralanetravel.org
- days inn maingate east in kissmiee its only 2 miles from disney world
- no matter what you do its not going to be cheap to stay at disney but heres some money saversss:D 1) stay at a value resort if you dont want to spend alot at a resort cause the value resorts are the came price as a hotel off the grounds and if you stay at a resort you can get the dinning plan. 2)the dinning plan is 39.99 for adults(per day, per person) and im not sure for kids but i know its cheaper then that. but anyway when you get this it might seem kindda expensive but its really not cause for lunch it is atleasttttttttt 60.00 and for breakfast its 60.00 and for dinner you get to get a sit down witch is atleast 300.00. soo it saves you a bunchhhh of money. and the dinning plan includes a sit down a over the counter and a snack and it deffinatly keeps you full:D it made me full and im never full haha. 3) go to a travel agent. 4)also if you stay at a resort you get transportation to the resorts to the parks. alsoooo if you fly in you can get the bus from the airportt. and this saves alot of moneyyy with the gas prices the way they are.:D hope i helpedddd. have funnnn.
- i suggest you stay on the disney property. the value hotels are $82 per night. pop century in particular is my fav disney provides free suttle service from the airport to your hotel and back again. and there are buses from your hotel to all of the parks, water parks, and downtown disney. if you don't want to stay at disney there is a great place caled Davenport it is 15 minutes from disney world. its off interstate 4 on highway 27. there are 3 hotels just off the exit. bestwesten super 8 holiday inn express they are all clean and decent. all have a pool. and all have something small for breakfast. the prices range from $35-$60 per night. there are good restaurants right there. bob evans waffle house burger king mcdonalds and a 7-11 and a couple of gas stations. i'm not sure of transportation though. i've always used a car. and up the road just a moment ore two is a great t-shirt shop. it has disney clothes, towels, and other souveniers. its def less expensive than the parks.
- There are lots of great websites that provide good information. But I strongly suggest that you get a hotel room in one of the Disney resorts on property. A special discount is being provided if you're going between Aug 3 and Sept 27. Value Resorts will be $69 for a standard room and Moderate Resorts will be $109 for a standard view room. But you must book before July 27th on the Disney World website. All guests staying at a Disney Resorts have a free Disney bus service that goes to all the parks and Downtown Disney. They have Disney's Magical Express shuttles that can take you to your hotel straight from the airport. Go to http://allears.net/acc/mexpress.htm to get your 4-1-1 info on that and the hotels if you want. And then go to Disneyworld.com to book everything. Good luck and have fun!
- The only way that you are going to get all of that would be to stay at a Disney resort. My first suggestion would be to check out the Pop Century resort. The Pop Century is in the value category of the Disney resorts. Not only do you get the famous Disney service, but you also get the best perks around. You get free transportation to and from Orlando Int'l airport. You get free door to door transportation to any and all of the Disney attractions. The off site hotels can't do that, only Disney can. They have limited shuttle service that in many cases costs extra. There is also Extra Magic hours, where one park is open early and one late for resort guests only. Again, you have to stay at a Disney resort to be able to take advantage of Extra Magic hours. Finally, you can also add the Disney dining plan to your package, which is a huge money saver by itself. If you want more info I suggest two places. First, check out the Disney website and use the resort comparison tool. You can compare the different resorts and see which one is right for you. Next check out the disboards. The disboards is a message boards website that is all about going to Disney. You can get tips and advice, resort reviews, restaurant reviews, pictures, just about any question you can think of answered. I put the link below. Hope this helps, have a great trip!
- I agree that the Pop Century resort is the way to go. It's Disney's "value" resort, but you would still be staying at a Disney resort on property. That means that you would have free bus service to ANY Disney park. They also have special entrance times for Disney resort guests. I would check their website for more info...
