Location Transport

My cell phone's being tracked!?!?

I am 19 years old, and I've moved out of my house. I have my own phone and my parents keep calling me on my phone telling my the exact location where I'm at and I'm a grown man and have a right to be where i want to be with out my parents nosing into my business. so my question is I have a Sprint Samsung Rant with the location turned off but they're still tracking me, how do I turn it off for good?

  1. Wow. That sucks. Go to a Sprint store.
  2. ooohhh.... thats horrible! get a new phone and make sure your parents don't know you got it! i'm not sure!
  3. cancel that application or feature from your plan...either that or just get an account in your name
  4. you have to contact the police but if u dont want 2 go through all that then just tell sprint that you want to fully block this number
  5. is your phone of your parents plan? if it is, go to a sprint store and get your own plan. or better yet, switch cell phone providers! go to verizon or something and don't tell your parents. when they visit or whatever use the old sprint one, but all the other time use the new one.
  6. In order to make a clean break from your parents you will have to start paying for things yourself. Your parents family plan allows them as parents to control their phones including the phones they allow their children to use and to see where they are and read their text messages sent and received and pics etc. They are just trying to make sure their children are safe and so on. Perhaps you could get your own phone.
  7. If the phone plan is yours only, then go to Sprint and Demand not ask that they block tracking or you will sue the ass off them. I'm sure your parents are concerned about you but they are over the top. If you do not get satisfaction with Sprint then change carriers & phones. Do not pay any charges Sprint may bill you for breaking the contract. Do everything in writing and when speaking to anyone from Sprint keep a record of the time, date, who you spoke to and notes of what was said. Send all mail certified, return receipt. Do not let them BS you.
