Is there a way to track my cell or car and I wouldn't know?

So I was talking to this guy for about 2 months. He ended up becoming somewhat creeper creeperton on me. We we just talking and when I ended up hanging out with another guy friend one night that dude ended up following me (so he said) to my location and looking at me through the window. Now it seems when I don't tell him where I am going, he still somehow knows where I am at and there is no denying it because he acts like he has proof. The only thing I can thing of is maybe he downloaded something on my phone when I wasn't looking that is tracking me. How can I find out?? This is really creepy to me. Maybe he has a tracker on the car too... But I don't know. I am scared and need help!! Any suggestions on what I can check out to see if I am being tracked?

1. Maybe he works for OnStar. They can track any vehicle that has that in it.
2. well with cells the only thing ive heard is you cant be tracked by anyone even the government if you remove the battery. as for him being able to do it or put something in your car...no idea, sorry.
3. cell phones can easily be tracked If you are in fear of a stalker, go to the police
4. There are so many ways to hack different electronics, yes, it is not only possible, but very likely. Is there any way you can get a new phone? Try talking to a techy friend of yours, maybe they could help u out. Also, make sure the bluetooth is off on your cell phone. I also wouldn't count out the possiblility that he is, in person, watching you. I hope he isn't really stalking you, but if you get a very bad feeling in your gut about the situation, I think intuitions can be very reliable. Most importantly: go to the police. They can give you further knowledge and instruction. Even if this guy is really sitting hundreds of miles away, without any capabilities of watchin you, and is getting huge laughs out of this, if you talk to the police, and he ends up getting questioned or worse fined/arrested, he will probably stop. Also, it sounds like he said he lived in another city, but...do you really KNOW that he doesn't live close by? Maybe plug his name into a people finder website like :http://www.intelius.com/ or http://www.peoplesearch.net/
