How are teenagers like in Canada?

Hi!! =) I'm a girl from Singapore, i'm 17 and I'm moving to Toronto this coming May. I'll be starting 12th grade at a high school this fall. What I want to know is, what teenagers are really like in Canada? It would help if I knew a little about them, so I don't feel left out.. Like what do they do during their free time? The places they usually hang out at? What the party scene is like - a lot of alcohol,pot etc? Cuz we don't have all tht where I'm from.. Which high schools are good? So far I've heard of North Toronto Collegiate and Earl Haig... Oh, and for a student like me, should I get a car of my mine or depend on public transport? Wud be great if u cud help me out!! Thx =)

Teenagers in Canada are not racist. They accept any race because Canada is a very racially diverse country. The teenagers there kinda act like the ones in the United States actually. =D
Teenagers here are way better than those from US. They are respectful, they are not racist, they always say Please & thank you. And yes, you need to have a car here. Transportation here is not as good as Singapore. They don't follow schedules, dirty & busses have strings to be pulled when you want to get off unlike in Singapore.. you just press the button when you want to get off. I know so well about the transportation there. Porche, BMW, jaguar, Mercedez as taxis...I stayed there for 3 years that's why I know what I'm atlking about. You need ID when you go to bars, marijuana is everywhere.
Teenagers in canada are a lot like there us peers due to the fact that there music and favourite tv shows are made in the us and they tend to emulate what they see and hear
