I am looking for a horse to buy?

I am looking for a horse to buy to use for barrel racing, What i want Any of these breeds: apaloosa, quarter horse, paint horse, appendix ages: 4-12 height: 14.3-15.3 price: up to 3,500 Location: California Discipline: Barrel Racing I want the horse to have either started learning the pattern or already raced at barrel races. Please help me find a horse to buy.

There's a bay 4 yo AQHA gelding named Scooter, ready to start and a sorrel AQHA 7 yo mare named Rachell Equept already started on barrels in your price range. To me the gelding has the better build but the mare has already been started. I would be sure to ask why they are for sale. Also might try going to some barrel races or clinics. Ask around if anyone has a horse for sale or a started horse for sale. The price you want to pay is pretty low for a horse who has even been started on barrels. If I wanted a barrel horse I would probably look for an ex race horse. You may have more retraining to do but would get a faster horse for less money. If you do that just be sure you get lower leg ex rays and a prepurchase exam from your vet.
we have a bay breeding stock 5 year old filly for sale..shes about 14.3 15 hands and has been started, just not worked with in awhile, we are located in northern oregon.
