Shipping rates for Fedex Ups?

I have about 40,000 auto parts sitting in my barn that need sold. I am in the process of building a website, but I have came across a problem with shipping rates. How can I give shipping rates in the shopping cart without weighing each item? I would spend months weighing each part just to ship, there has to be an easier way. I dont want to just add a rate of lets say $18 when the cost will be $40, I cant eat that much of a cost. Any ideas? Thanks.
