Where is the appendix located?

Where is the appendix located? Can you give me the location where i can visualize it if i took off my shirt? Like is it located behind the pelvic bone? Or like it located near the belly button? or something like that. thanks

1. The appendix is located on the lower right quadrant of the abdomen which is... a bit to the right of the belly button, above your hip bone.
2. As a general guide, McBurney's point. If you draw a line from the right anterior superior iliac spine (the pointy part of the hip bone in front) to the umbilicus (belly button), it would be about one third of the way from the bone.
