What is the best way to get from Driffield (East Yorkshire) to Middlesbrough by public transport?

I need to know the cheapest and quickest way of getting to Middlesbrough from Driffield. Could I get a train to Hull and then one to borough or would I have to go to York or something? No silly answers like 'learn to drive' please. You know you won't get a best answer doing that so why bother? I have a car but I just need to know anyway. Thanks.

2. By rail it takes between 3 hours and 3 hours 30 minutes including 2 changes. Depending on what time you travel you will change at Doncaster and Darlington or Hull and another point. www.nationalrail.co.uk www.railcard.co.uk
