How can I track the location of a cell phone?

I have the number, it is a track phone from verizon. He is harrassing and causing a lot of people problems, prank calling, texting, and generally being an ass. The police and verizon don't seem to care, how can we find this guy.

1. If the folks that are supposed to care do not, you need to change your phone number... Or better yet Switch to AT&T where they care, Or HE|| do Both, why not
2. Call your carrier and tell them to block the prankster's number from your phone.
3. You can do a reverse cell phone lookup search.
