I want to travel from Morocco to Mauritania. I plan on doing this by traveling along the coast of the West Sahara trans-Saharan route. But how do I do this? Correct me if I'm wrong but i believe no public transport goes between Morocco and Mauritania. I also can't take a hired car as i won't be going back to Morocco so I cannot return the car to where i got it Camel may take long but it looks like my only option to get across the Sahara to Morocco 1) Does anyone know a better way I can get through the Sahara than a camel? 2) If I have to take a camel how do I go about organising it 3) Would it be very difficult to walk if i took a tent, water and food with me? P.S. I don't wanna take a plane!
