Transportation from Orlando International Airport to and from Hotel?

I'm travelling with alot of people (9) and thats why taxi won't work and plus it will be much to expensive. The hotel were staying at (Radisson hotel Orlando-Lake Buena Vista) does not accommodate shuttle service from or to the airport and were not planning on renting a car. I heard something about a Lynx bus or something, how does it work, and will it accommodate 9 people? Also do you have any other better ideas of transportation for 9 people. Thanks! :)

  1. Lynx is the local public bus service. It is the cheapest but also the worst way to get to your hotel. I would use it only as a last resort. Your best option is to split up and take several cabs. If you get two van cabs you should all be able to fit and if you are splitting the money it won't be expensive. Another option is a stretch limo. If you are paying $18 a person for a shuttle or $50 per cab you can hire a limo for $75 and get everyone to Disney in style and all in one trip.
  2. Go to the airport's website and click on "Ground Transportation". You may not all be able to travel together, but it's not for all that long. Might be easiest to just get a couple of cabs. You're going to be spending a lot of money, anyway - what's a few bucks more for a couple of cabs? You may actually want to consider renting a couple of cars or a van. How are you going to get from your hotel to the park?
  3. There are several transportation taxi services that have full size passenger vans that seat 12 people. I think Mears, which is the biggest taxi co. in Orlando has them.
