Location Transport

If you could travel by transporter would you?

Long before Scotty started beaming away teams down to alien planets. There was a movie made in 1958 called "the fly" starring al hedison. I am a lover of old b-movies like this. I grew up on them. Spent (wasted) a good part of my life watching them. In watching "the fly" the scientist steps into his transporter,but neglects to see the fly in with him. The machine cannot distinguish between his atoms and the flys,so it integrates them into one. Turning the scientist in to a half human half fly creature. Far far into the future I'm sure these imperfections will be corrected ans travel by transport will be safe for humankind. like flying in a airplane. But I'm sure some people would be afraid of being taken apart molecule by molecule converted into energy and re assembled where ever it was they were going. Givin all the benefits and dangers of traveling this way, would you do it? Knowing that there was a 1 in 1.000.000.000 (billion) chance you may not arrive, or re assembled into some horrible mismatch of human body parts???

5. i think if the technology was sound enough i would, because i trust that it wouldn't be so widely available if it were not safe.
