Shipping containers from china to north america?

How many ways can I ship around 50 x 40' container from Wuhan, china to Toronto, Canada and Los Angeles? What are transportation modes? And what cost for that

1. About your only option to ship from China to North America is by sea. Ships go from China to North America regularly loaded with containers and should be able to take something this size. Like anything, cost will depend on weight. The real problem may be getting the container into or out of the ship yards. 40' X 50' won't fit many roads. You'll need special permits and to carefully plan a route to avoid tunnels and going under bridges where the supports would be too close together.
