Location Transport

How do you transport the electricity that is generated by dry steam power plants to your house?

I've read that this way of using geothermal power would eliminate the need to transport, what do they mean by that?

1. ?Maybe they're talking about not having to transport coal. Electricity will still be delivered via the grid.
2. Geothermal power plants would still need to send the electricity to people's houses, unless we all had our own personal mini thermal plants like the Bushs do on their ranch.
