where can i find the code to my vw transporter radio?

its a rcd 200 comes up as safe then 1000 and cant seem to find out how to get the code

1. From a VW dealer.
2. Mine is in the handbook but some owners remove them. Contact your local VW Van centre with relevant vehicle ID numbers and they should be able to find a computer record of it.
