2. Here's what you do: Walk up to someone and punch them in the face -- or have them punch you in the face. Whichever works for you. Then tell us if it's possible. Movie fights are choreographed, practiced over and over to ensure no one actually gets hurt. In real life, if you were to be, say, punched in the mouth -- more than likely you're looking at a split lip, loose/knocked out teeth and blood. Get punched in the jaw, it would likely be broken. Get hit in the stomach, you're likely to find yourself on your knees sucking wind. Movie fights, while often brutal, sometimes balletic and other times downright beautiful -- are not realistic. Even the films starring Tony Jaa -- Ong Bak, The Protector, etc. -- which do include contact between fighters, features fights which have been rehearsed numerous times, with stuntmen wearing hidden pads (though admittedly sometimes they wear none, and simply take the hit) but even then, it's not FULL contact, just enough to make it look authentic.
