Location Transport

Any ideas on how to transport ice cream from one country to another?

I would like to transport ice cream from Ecuador to the US. I'm currently in the US but I know people who can help me from Ecuador.

  1. Try a big freezer and connect the adapter to your cigarrete lighter in your car.
  2. people ship frozen fish all the time. There are special boxes filled with dry ice. Dunno about shipping service from there though.
  3. hot ice
  4. ehh...why would you wanna do that?
  5. You can ship it with dry ice. Check with UPS or FedEx. You can ship any frozen food this way.
  6. Surprise!!! We have ice cream in the US. You don't have to bring it with you. We have 31 flavors of ice cream and more. It's available at the grocery store. Don't try to bring it with you...buy it when you get here...We won't run out, I promise.
  7. if you plan to export ice cream from Ecuador to the US, you might want to check with US customs first. you prob need get a license first. both for personal and especially commerical. try to pack the ice-cream in a cooler with dry ice. make sure you seal the cooler really well, and it should last you for at least 8 hours.

  10. you must ship it with enough dry ice
  11. contrary to what other have said you are not allowed to transport dry ice on a commercial aircraft. It's against FAA regulations
  12. Ship it with lots of dry ice. Be careful, dry ice doesn't last forever, so you may want to have it shipped by overnight mail.
  13. wow...that's a toughie. i'd say if you get the strongest cooler and lots of ice or a portable freezer that might work. otherwise, i don't know.
