Can we ship luggage in the car while shipping the car?

I am planning on getting my car shipped from new york to Seattle. I was wondering if the car shipping company would allow me to leave some luggage in the trunk. Of course I am going to call the car shipping company and find out, but I am still waiting for some things to be confirmed before shipping my car. i thot i cud use this service as its free :) Does anyone out there have any idea about this? I appreciate your answers .. thanks..

You can put some belongings in the trunk of the vehicle, however you may not to put anything that is high value like a jewelry box, as the contents in the vehicles are not covered under insurance but the vehicle is.
