Amazon FREE Super Saver Shipping?

I ordered two Ipod Touches from Amazon. I bought screen protectors and cases that weren't shipped from amazon and didn't have free shipping. The screen protectors and cases just shipped the day I ordered. In the email Amazon sent me they said the Ipod Touches would SHIP August 16. Not arrive!! Will it really take that long for them to ship?? The Itouch was from Amazon directly and the rest were from different stores.

1. First, the free shipping is the one that takes the longest. Second, yes, they say it will ship much later. However, everything I have ordered from Amazon (which is a lot) has been shipped and arrived much earlier than the date in the emails. I would also check and see who is shipping them. Were they ordered from Amazon, or another company that uses Amazon to sell their products? If they are from another company and not Amazon directly, they may take longer.
