RE: Preorders on Amazon and free super saver shipping.?

I ordered 3 things on Amazon today. 2 are in stock and 1 is a preorder on a book. Despite the fact that there are 2 "items in stock and ready to be shipped", it appears they will hold the entire order until the preordered book ultimately becomes available?!? Is that right? Or will they carve out the 2 items and send them now? If the intention is to hold them (until MAY) can I unorder the preorder to have them ship the other two items? Please advise.

If you've ordered all three from one seller (I assume Amazon itself, not a marketplace vendor), and it's only eligible for super saver with the combined total then they will probably wait until all are available. If the others are eligible on their own they should send them before the pre-order comes out. Your options are to either change the delivery on the two available items to standard or cancel the order and re-order them all separately (or the two available items in one order and the pre-order in a separate one). If you're unsure I'd send an email to Amazon asking them what's going happen.
3. if you choosed on free super saver shipping your order is grouped in to few shipment as possible so if there is any item that is not available or for pre-order it will hold the delivery of the package. it is better if you just cancel the pre-order item and place it as a new order. you are always welcome to make some changes on the order until the item hasen't ship yet.
4. they will send you what they have, and you will get an email notifying you when the last item will be shipped. You won't be charged extra shipping costs. You will even be notified of the exact day it shipped and the shipper number.
