Shipping rates to Nigeria.?

I am shipping a i pod to someone in Nigeria from NY. Does anybody know what the shipping rates will cost me in such a little package. I tried to find it out on ups but it was confusing so im just asking here to see if i should go through with the sale. thanks

1. If this is an online sale, DO NOT send anything until you have the money in hand. Do not trust any emails pretending to be from Paypal saying your account will be credited after you provide a tracking number. That is NOT from Paypal, it's a spoof that is all over the internet and people are losing hundreds of electronic goods a day to this same scam If this is a friend or family member or you actually have the money in hand, the rates will depend how you send it,. Do not send anything to Nigeria without insurance and that you cannot track online and requires a signature upon delivery. Postal theft is rife, and without insurance or proof of delivery, if this is through Paypal the buyer can always claim they never got it and Paypal will refund the money out of your account as long as you do not have actual proof that the person it was sent to actually signed for the delivery and you did not purchase insurance.
