PLEASE HELP! Amazon's Free Super Saver Shipping?

If I order $25 worth of Amazon fulfilled items, and the rest of my order is from independent sellers on Amazon, do I still qualify for Free Super Saver Shipping? Or, do I have to but only Amazon fulfilled items of $25 or more to be able to get free shipping? Christmas is coming up, and I'm trying really hard to cut corners where need be, and $40 on shipping is something I could do without.

1. From what I understand (and why I do not use Amazon), the Amazon fulfilled items will have free shipping as long at you have 25 dollars worth of items from those providers. Any other items you are purchasing will have independent shipping from each marketplace seller. If you're worried about it, why don't you checkout twice, once with the super-saver items, and once with the items from the various marketplace sellers?
